Hi, I’m PM Mustache.
I’m a product manager who works to understand the context behind users and stakeholders, and helps teams move in the same direction.
Welcome to Product with Mustache
A quick introduction
I majored in Global Business Administration at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, and since graduating I’ve worked as a product manager at startups across commerce, media, and edtech. I like building products that actually ship — starting from user research, shaping the strategy, and working closely with engineering and marketing to make it real.
Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about how AI tools can be woven into the day-to-day work of a PM. This blog is where I write down what I learn along the way.
Some of the things I’ve worked on
- GATEPLUS — PM for a U.S. college admissions test prep service (SAT, AP, ACT mock exams)
- Bloomingbit 2.0 — Product management for the relaunch of a crypto news media platform. Led user research, feature planning, and CX
- storelink / UniBE Vietnam — Product owner for a social commerce app in Vietnam. Planned local KOL marketing campaigns and managed development
- Handy — Automation tool for Meta ad setup. Ran in-depth user interviews, designed the front-end flow, and managed development
- GetGPT — No-code platform for building GPT apps. User research, feature planning, and running community competitions
- 10 Second — AI service for writing business English emails. Built the IR pitch deck and product concept
- BARBALAN — Branding for an IoT device that measures barbell form. Ran customer interviews in Silicon Valley and helped secure over $25,000 in grants
- Ease-Take — Supplement reminder app for Gen Z. Took first place at a university IR pitch competition
- Iyuno Media Group — Freelance subtitle QA for English-to-Korean translation of BBC documentaries and Netflix originals
Beyond that, I’ve worked as a private tutor and as a translator/programmer for a film festival — among other things.

Oh, and why “Mustache PM”?
It’s the name of the cat I’ve been living with for over 15 years.
